From November 1st to 4th, the "China Sports Lottery" 2018 Asian Youth Rock Climbing Championship (hereinafter referred to as "Asian Youth Championship") was grandly held in Chongqing Huayan Gecko King National Rock Climbing Demonstration Park. The competition attracted people from Cambodia, Hong Kong and China. More than 200 athletes from 15 Asian countries and regions including Taipei, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, and China participated in the competition.The competition was hosted by the Asian Committee of the International Rock Climbing Federation, undertook by the Mountaineering Management Center of the State Sports General Administration, the Chongqing Sports Bureau, and the People's Government of Jiulongpo District of Chongqing City, and co-organized by the Sports Bureau of Jiulongpo District, Chongqing.

The competition is divided into three groups (youth group, group A and group B) for the difficulty, speed and rock climbing competition, totaling 18 individual events
